Super Socialization

The Super Socialization program aims to create confident, well-adjusted, and socially adept puppies. The program takes a holistic approach that focuses on positive experiences and balanced training methods to ensure the puppies develop strong social skills and a solid foundation for future interactions.

Supervised play sessions are a key component of the program, allowing puppies to interact with other dogs in a controlled and safe environment. The trainer carefully selects compatible playmates to ensure positive experiences and appropriate play behaviors. During these sessions, puppies learn to communicate, establish boundaries, and engage in healthy social play.

Puppies are given opportunities to interact with unfamiliar individuals, enabling them to develop trust and confidence in human interactions.

To build resilience and address potential fears or anxieties, puppies are gradually exposed to stimuli that may trigger fear or anxiety, while positive experiences and rewards are paired to create positive associations. This helps puppies overcome their fears and become more confident and well-adjusted.

Maintenance Manners

The Maintenance Manners program aims to help dogs develop a positive and cooperative attitude towards grooming procedures and various forms of handling.

This includes gentle touch, body inspections, and desensitization to different types of handling, such as lifting paws or examining ears. Positive reinforcement techniques are used to reward the dog’s calm and relaxed behavior, creating positive associations with handling.

As the dog becomes more comfortable with basic handling, the program progresses to grooming-specific exercises. This includes introducing grooming tools such as brushes, combs, and nail clippers in a gradual and positive manner.

Throughout the program, the trainer educates dog owners on proper grooming techniques, maintenance routines, and handling practices. They provide guidance on maintaining good coat and skin health, dental care, ear cleaning, and other essential grooming practices. This empowers the owners to continue the maintenance and grooming routine at home, ensuring the dog’s ongoing well-being.

Why does my dog need a behavioral evaluation?

A behavioral evaluation conducted before accepting a dog for training services offers valuable insights into the dog’s temperament, behavior patterns, and individual needs. This information allows trainers to develop a personalized approach that takes into account the dog’s unique personality. Understanding the dog’s temperament and behavior helps in matching it with the most suitable training program.

A behavioral evaluation is a crucial step in providing the best training services. It allows for an individualized approach, ensures safety, identifies training needs, builds trust, and sets realistic expectations. By tailoring the program to the dog’s specific needs and characteristics, trainers can maximize the dog’s success, well-being, and overall satisfaction.
