We worked with Haley Goodman at Wind River Canine Partners to get our two dogs trained, one received obedience training and the other one had behavioral issues. We saw huge improvement with both of them. Our nine month old puppy can we walked on a leash without pulling, listens to all of his commands, and is much more manageable now. Our 5 year old dog used to be terrified of humans and would bark a lot when they walked by or came near her. Now, she is excited to greet people, including kids who scared her the most, and she never barks when they are around. We didn’t think she would ever be comfortable around humans, so it was an incredible improvement all thanks to the time and dedication Haley gave. Haley was also very personable, highly responsive, and tailored the training to meet our dogs’ needs. Would highly recommend Haley and the training facility!

Amazing facility and trainers. At first we were slightly unsure of what to do when our border collie became protective of us, however trainer, Haley turned this around. Haley’s hard work and dedication truly shows through with the amount of love our pup has for her. She has been professional, dedicated, and normalized all our concerns, because of her we now have the confidence to take our pup places again. We cannot wait to continue training with her to expand the positive relationship we now have with our pup.

My Veterinarian, Dr. Joseph Conrad, recommended special training for my 9 month old English Lab, Ella Fitzgerald. While Very smart and mostly a very positive dog, she exhibited a higher and higher frequency of running towards and ultimately biting any stranger she met on the trail. The crux came when she attacked an armed hunter whilst hiking hiking on a Forest Service trail. At that point, 1 knew we needed help. Our breeder recommended Wind River Kennels as being the appropriate place to send her. We met with Haley Goodman who assessed her abilities and agreed to take her on as a client. The most difficult part was leaving Ella with someone she didn’t know and in a strange place for four weeks. Haley assured me that I could come to visit any day, by appointment. During her four-week stay I did so on a regular basis. It was very clear, from the outset, that Ella was making progress under Haley’s guidance and, further, that Ella was very fond of her. The training was humane and consistent. While Ella will probably always be an excitable dog, the changes in her behavior after working with Haley have been profound, After the four weeks of intensive training, Ella and l met with Haley in different outdoor and indoor settings to ensure that I understood what the training was about, including using the appropriate commands. This was very useful and an important component of the course. I appreciate the care and training that Haley provided for Ella. Her diagnosis and treatment of Ella was exactly what she needed, and, without that, I would have had a “problem child” for the rest of her life. Thus, I can highly recommend Haley for her humane yet effective treatment of her four-legged guests.

My dog did not have aggression issues he was just overwhelming. Also, he loved to chase cattle and horses. I live in Denver so I was looking for a well rounded training. I found Wind River Canine Partners online and setup an appointment with Kelsey to board and train my Hovawart, Brett. From the beginning I was very comfortable with their process. Kelsey displayed amazing ability to formulate a training plan suitable for the dogs environment. Eventually, met Haley and found her to be a huge part of Brett’s success. *Ask for Haley if you go the training route!! These two are dog whispers!! The staff was also very accommodating. Always there to assist and let me stop by to say hi to my boy! Brett completed the Foundation, Advanced, and Off leash partnership in 5 weeks. Frequent communication, friendly staff, and value!!
